About Me

Why did you join this class?

I joined this class because I have heard great things about it and I normally would not take a class like this. I have never really done anything like cinematography before and I thought that it would be really fun to try it out and challenge myself to do something that I do not think that I will be naturally good at.

What do you hope to gain from taking this class?

I hope to gain a bunch of stuff from this class! I want to to take advantage of the amazing opportunity that this class has to offer. I hope to gain a whole new perspective on things through this class and I also want to know how cameras and editing really work

What do you know about cinematography?

I honestly know pretty much nothing about cinematography. I know that it is the “study” of motion pictures, I also know that it is how movies are made, but I hope to learn a whole bunch more throughout this class.

What do you want to know about cinematography?

I want to know what makes a good movie and I want to know how I can make the best movies/clips possible.  I want to know about all the right angles and the type of music and everything that makes a good movie!

What type of films would you like to make?

As of right now, I honestly don’t know what type of films that I want to make but I think coming up with ideas of news stories will be fun and I also think I will like coming up with ideas about the PSA

What are three of your favorite movies?-embed trailers or screen shots and explain why you enjoy these films.

1. One of my all time favorite movies (+book!!!) is the Great Gatsby, I love the story and I think that the movie did a good job of representing the book and I think that the 1920’s looks really fun. Link!  

2. Another favorite movie of mine is The Notebook, it makes me cry but in a good way and once again I love the story and I also like the idea of movies in an older time period. This is definitely my all time favorite movie! Link!  

3. Another favorite movie of mine is Mean Girls, the first time I watched this movie I was in 6th grade and I thought it was so funny, now I have kind of grown out of thinking that it's really funny but still since it was a favorite of mine then, it is a favorite of mine now. LINK!  

 

 

What is your favorite movie genre?

I like all types of movies! I really like comedy, drama, horror, romantic comedy!

What motivates you to work hard?

I think things that are challenging for me motivate me to work hard, or something that I don’t know how to to well

What are five concerns that you have now in your life?

1. That I won’t live a happy life

2. That I won’t get into a good college

3. I won’t make my parents proud

4. I will do bad on my SAT’s and my ACT’s

5. That I will get bad grades

What was your favorite subject in school? Why?

I really like science even though I am not that good at it, I think it really cool that the things that we learn about in that class makes up our world.

What are the three words that best describe you?

Outgoing, friendly, hard working

Biggest Character turn-off for you? (ex. I hate when people are late)

 

I hate when people make me late, and I hate when people ruin my plans because they don’t want to do something, or when people don’t text me back.
